About

Local Perfectionists

Sevens Solar is a licensed electrical contracting company working out of two shops, in Denmark and Kaukauna, Wisconsin. The person who designs your system is the one who installs it, and the one who picks up when you call.

Who We Are

Community focused, solution driven

We live and work in Northeast Wisconsin, and we run out of two shops, Denmark and Kaukauna. Our standard service area covers forty-two counties across eastern and south-central Wisconsin, and we take requests from anywhere in the Midwest. Working from two shops instead of one is what keeps that reach honest: we are not building windshield time into your price, and when something needs attention we can be there that week.

At a lot of solar companies your job passes through a salesperson, then a designer, then whichever crew is open that week. By install day, nobody standing on your roof was in the room when the promises were made. That is where we are different. Here the same people handle the design, the permits, the install, and the monitoring after.

We have done a large amount of residential work across Northeast Wisconsin, and commercial projects are a regular part of our schedule. Between residential and commercial, we are on track to install more than a megawatt of solar this year.

Why Us

The extra mile is the standard

The details most installers skip are where we start. This is what that looks like.

Sealed beyond spec

All-black IronRidge flashings tuck under the shingles, and we add a layer of adhesive sealant on top of what the spec calls for. We do not promise the roof stays dry. We guarantee it, for the life of the system.

Built to be looked at

All-black panels, rails, and flashings. Straight conduit runs and clean penetrations. Ground array rows are set true and every panel is string-lined, so the rows sit dead straight instead of drifting as they run. If a detail does not look right, it gets redone before we leave the site.

Checked panel by panel

Every system we install reports through Enphase monitoring. If a single panel underperforms, we know before you do.

Chart comparing our simulated estimate against actual monthly production: 10.1 MWh estimated, 10.8 MWh produced, 7% over estimate, and a full-year ground array at 16.2 estimated against 16.4 actual

Estimates that hold up

We under-promise and over-deliver on production. Every design runs through power simulation software with LiDAR shading data before we quote it, so the number you get is your roof and your trees, not a regional average.

Equipment

One standard

We are not locked to a brand. If a different panel or battery suits the site or the budget, we'll install it.

The part you never see

IronRidge all-black anodized rail and flashing, the same hardware on every job. It is what our no-leak guarantee stands on. Cheap racking is where roof leaks start, so we do not install it.

02 / Panels

All-black, always recommended

We reach for top-tier all-black panels. Solar doesn't have to be ugly, and a black array on a dark roof nearly disappears from the road. Panel selection depends on the application, so we spec the panel that fits your site.

03 / Microinverters

One inverter per panel

A conventional system runs the whole array through a single inverter, and that inverter is your single point of failure. If it goes down, the array goes with it. We put a microinverter under each panel instead, so each one produces and reports on its own. That is what makes panel-by-panel monitoring possible, and it puts the inverter warranty at 25 years to match the panels. A standalone inverter rarely exceeds 10 to 15.

Sized to your needs

Enphase, EcoFlow, EG4, and others, selected for the site and for the loads you want backed up. Batteries are expandable, so storage capacity and output are sized to your home and your needs. When the grid goes down the switch over to battery power is automatic and unnoticeable. Tie the system in with a generator and your home is fully off-grid capable.
